Anyone here remembering a british band called The Zombies? That was many years before I was even born, but the song "She's not there" is a real classic. Yesterday I stumbled upon this very reduced live version of original band members Colin Blunstone and Rod Argent from 2012. Colin's voice is amazing for a 67 year old guy (Rod's too, btw.)!

Hey there, wikiloopers! What are you listening to?

Here is a track by AB's, a band from Japan I discovered recently. Ok, this is an old band, but I'm not so much into new music.

I really like the guitarist, Makoto Matsushita who released solo stuff too, as well as other projects like the band PARADIGM SHIFT (recommended for prog lovers).

Oh and by the way, great slap bass on this track, don't you think?

This is sick, great bass tone! Glad I found your thread haha

Also checking out PARADIGM SHIFT, appreciate the recommendations!

Here's a track from another japanese band for you to check out haha:

There was over a 90 percent chance of me being there when Stevie played. The place is called Cheatham Street Warehouse in San Marcos and was and still is a dive. Stevie and his guys played there a lot during the late 70's and early 80's. There were some unbelievable acts that came through there, huge names.

My band played there about twice a month on a Friday or Saturday, it was part of the I-35 music corridor. I actually went to college in San Marcos at Texas State University, fun times. There may have been almost 100 people for that jam session, it wasn't a big club. Just sharing some memories here. Ron
