Thanks a lot Ray. I'm gonna record another version^^
I'm mixing the tracks. Ernie's one has a slight delay. So there's a natural effect which comes with. Sort of typing machine HH and splashing snare... Looks awesome from where I am but I can send you the track before any upload... +2

This is totally awesome, I love the bass in the verse (the quiet part), fits so perfect. Super tight and super cool playing. This really is a fun song. Not quite punk, more heavy rock punkish!

Thanks Boss, I tweaked this track a little differently than the normal adjustments I use in Reaper ... used a freeware VST plugin that I downloaded ... it's pretty cool, it's an overdrive but I didn't crank it, just a bit of edge. https://www.tseaudio.com/software/tseBOD

great I'll take a look at it. I managed to get my amp mic working thanks for the tips a few weeks ago and find it much more reliable for the tone I want. Not sure if the neighbours agree!

haha @ your neighbors! Yeah I like a mic, find it a somewhat punchier tone and right, more reliable. If I can't get a line to sound right .. I go to the mic. I do use direct in when the wife is asleep or in the house, etc. lol Been playing with the direct in a bit more lately though, it's a challenge, takes more fiddling I find tone wise.
