LE BATEAU IVRE
Ma vie était reflet sans ombre
Un bateau ivre très loin du quai
Qui voguait en eaux peu profondes
Qu’il pouvait craindre de s’échouer
J’ai voyage au bout du monde
Et traversé vents et marées
Pour fuir l’hiver et ses fantômes
Et j’ai finalement accosté
J’ai retrouvé enfin ma terre
Terre de vie, de liberté
Cueilli des fleurs au bord de mer
Dans mon pays imaginé
Ma vie était reflet sans ombre
Un bateau ivre abandonné
Qui dérivait entre deux mondes
Sans port de mer ou s’arrêter
J’ai traverse toutes les mers
J’ai tant cherché sans rien trouver
Usé ma vie, créé l’enfer
Loin du pays ou je suis né
J’ai retrouvé enfin ma terre
Terre de vie, de liberté
Cueilli des fleurs au bord de mer
Dans mon pays imaginé
THE DRUNKEN BOAT
My life was a reflection shadowless
A drunken boat away from the dock
Which was sailing in shallow waters
He could be afraid to fail
I travel round the world
And through winds and tides
To escape the winter and its ghosts
And I finally docked
I finally found my land
Land of life and liberty
Picked flowers at the seaside
In my imaginary country
My life was a reflection shadowless
A drunken boat abandoned
Drifting between two worlds
No seaport to stop
I crossed all the seas
I searched but found nothing
Spent my life, created hell
Far from the country where I was born
I finally found my land
Land of life and liberty
Picked flowers at the seaside
