Without You...
Superb template from Kenny which I already had ear-marked to play on and then Alice's add cropped up. Well, it'd be rude not to, wouldn't it? Can never resist her vocals.
Wonderful ballad from the pair of them which left me in a quandary with what to do as, before Alice's add, I had something more fusion in mind. For whatever brain-charred reason, I decided a straightforward ballad beat just wouldn't cut it. I wanted a little more subtlety but syncopation ...

Oh My! This is magnanimously beautiful! I am totally amazed you can play a totally upbeat drumming and now a totally relaxing and just enough to show the groove. It must have been hard for Mike Portnoy to do the same thing but here, effortlessly you did it. Freakin Awesome martin!

Thanks, Kenny. This was tougher than usual because I wanted to play a more complex pattern on the hi-hat but it had to groove. If it doesn't feel go, it doesn't go in - that's my rule.

Thanks, Marc and I agree. This tune was mixed on my headphones and it's not always easy to tell if I've got it right. I listened last night on my main speakers and realised how far back they were. I'll do a remix.

You don't have to, you included the HD track, so the next remixer can increase the drumvolume!

You always breathe in the feeling of the songs you´re going to add in such a perfect way. The result is always a sensitive masterful drumming experience for the listeners. Thanks for this, Martin.
