Thanks! I actually learned how to save my track's channel setting in Logic (includes all the stuff to make that tone). Now, I can find that tone again on other projects.

Thanks. I spoke with a school mate this weekend and we discussed how I've always been focused on playing tasteful music. I use overdrive and distortion sometimes but as I get older, I'm most concerned about capturing the listener's ear and not blowing out his/her eardrum lol.

So true! Effects can bring in some cool stuff as well but i really dig it when a guitar has this pure clean sound... bare-naked and nothing to hide :)
