I'm always impressed by the sound of your vocal Nick and I wondered how you mixed it, it feels set back with a slight delay or verb or effect surely.... or maybe you just have a real good mic :) or you're some sort of amazing singer.... nah couldn't be that :@

thank you so much Shamika, i really appreciate the feedback and the inquiry. my mic is basic, not crazy expensive, it's a Shure PGA48. but for processing, it starts with EQ, compression, and some delay. i can't really explain the EQ, only because LittleWing at one time did an analysis on my vocals with some suggested frequencies to boost...and i used that as a starting point. in my vocal chain of effects, that the first thing in line, is that EQ pattern.
