The Bass playing on this is great and works really well with the guitar part. It's a real pity about the crackling noise that seems to be on most of the track. I wonder if we could clean it up?

Don't get me wrong. I think the actual bass playing is great, my friend... Just the crackling would be good to omit. I have had that so many times on my own recordings, especially on my vocals. I'm glad you joined in and I really like your playing 👍🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟
