Added flute and remixed with both guitar tracks. Only used Air Delay Pro and reverb on flute. BPM 97.8. Kept sliding into Amaj with a few G# by ear and decided leave it in because I'm a bad doggy without perfect pitch!

Bad doggy? Certainly not bad with good tonal concepts and well engineered/mixed. +1

PaulM44 Thanks for the praise but like the dog begging for the treat, I hear notes a half-step out of key that I would prefer and keep straining my leash. +1

Wade If you can hear them why not alter/fix them in your editing? +1

PaulM44 Right, I do fix them when found but keep blowing them initially. Part of the rationale for leaving some in is that it sounds only slightly off and maybe adds to the general feeling of the piece, so maybe a few are all right after all. Yeah, slippery slope for sure. That's why I go to EWI-MIDI for really tight pieces since Audio is so hard to correct.

I hope you are not getting some of the bad weather like on Réunion -- Michel keeps adding tracks but haven't heard from Philippe lately. :)

Wade Philippe occasionally needs to "regroup".

I hear you about how many wrong notes are tolerable/OK. Best to strive for playing what you hear in your head and just improving accuracy. When there are only a few "wrong notes" there's not much (if anything) to correct. It's a long journey, but with persistence achievable.

It's one of those diminishing returns sorts of things. 20 years ago I'd get maybe 90 out of 100 notes right. 15 years ago maybe 98 out of 100. 10 years ago 99 out of 100. Today maybe 199 out of 200. Those wrong notes are still there, but much fewer.

Ironically when you stop thinking about the fingers and notes it comes together. It needs to be like driving... subconscious where you're not actively thinking... it flows through you.

PaulM44 The "not thinking about fingering" aspect is something I discussed in my bio--learning that the brain will rewire accordingly. But 'years to go before' I get to your level. +1

Wade My technical level is actually quite low, but that's OK as I concentrate on content rather than trying to impress. +1
