I particularly like the tertiary resonances that come from that.

There are a few different things going on at 0:30. The most obvious is the introduction of vibrato. The tone is softer and more mellow as well. That's in the breath, oral cavity and the vibrato is light embouchure pressure on the reed in a rhythmic pattern. On other wind instruments (flute, oboe, NAF, etc.) this is accomplished using differences in the airflow via the diaphragm muscles.
