If you look at your waveform and the one from the original track, you can see a reduction of overall track volume. Depending on the DAW that you use, they all have the "exit" volume level that you can set, try to see if this is set to 0 decibel. If you need help with technical stuff like mixing and recording, you can write your question in the forum, you will be surprised how many people here are really good at that, and are happy to help :)
