Doom Test (lower speakers first)
I had been listening to the "Barbarian Overlords" second album on Spotify and started fooling around with Stoner/Doom stuff. This is a MusicMan 4 string through a MicroPOG: full octave up, no sub octave - full effect dial at 10 - then through a Gamma Hades metal distortion pedal - all dials set at 5 - drive at 6. Not sure what this is, but if I can find more like it online I might try to pen a song ...

Stoner is really slower I think, this was just the drum groove I clicked on to jam to it. Do you think it's just too overbearing with the fuzz and distortion?

It does. Im trying to dial out some of the bass, then put bass under it, sounding like a distorted baritone guitar or something. I'm just trying new things, it's fun but a little obnoxious sounding so far.

Kind of right? I'm looking to see if I can take this distortion and create something new, or cool.
