Blues/Rock Template (bass/drum)
So essentially, I'm playing B-A-D-E then I drop the D on the second go round and do B-A-E

Then the riff plays B - (F#/A/B)x2 B - (F#/F/E)

The little bridge thing is G-F# and a chromatic B down to F#

That's about it.

Hit it with some Stevie Ray Vaughn and it will be killer! Hope someone enjoys it.

Excellent head bobbin' toe tappin' bass and drum template, that little run down riff sounds wicked!! Tight stuff. I'd be runnin' for my guitar if I knew how! :W:W

I fiddle with it, but I'm a bass player, always have been. I don't typically use a pick, I feel the bass, so guitar for me becomes formulaic and like math, there's no feel to it, it's rhythmic and soulless. Add to that I can't really play guitar well, so I was thinking of distorting the bass and using an octave pedal, may be I can fake it, lol. I feel you on the acoustic, I have two, I usually playt hem in January thinking it's going to be a new year, and then I never play them again until next january.

haha .. the January guitar plans!! That's a good one Joe. Speaking of picks, if you can use one at all you're doing better than me. I've gotten picks and think I'm gonna do some fancy stuff on the bass with it but I always end up saying f*ck this! Just feels awkward for me. .. yeah some lead on bass good idea, i've tried that a couple times here .. good for a laugh!! tv time .. have a good evening bro :D

I understand the pick thing, I sometimes record a segment with a pick, rarely ever, and live, I can't do it. I was just never a pick guy, it just didn't feel right. Cheers to the dudes who switch between them, I can't do it. Lead bass, I used to talk with a friend as kids saying we'd do all bass albums, we never did. Leave it to Billy Sheehan or Stu Hamm, they're lead guys, I just want to lay down the old boomstick!

Some of the best Pink Floyd guitar solos are Gilmore just bending a single note to hell, lets write a book, "Bass the one note theory!"
