the blue moon club
we bought demob suits
in a junk shop off the prom
the walls were hung with kitchener
and screenprint ban the bombs
we bought bristol blue decanters
and faded union jacks
thought the who were really crap
and plastered up the cracks
at night we danced to geno
and records by the herd
we missed the night that jimi played
saw spencer, on the third
blue moons and purple hearts
will's wild woodbine fags
alleyways and miniskirts
johnnies for the shags
