Please excuse my sloppy play in this. It wasn't meant to be anything more than a test clip. My favorite tube preamp has been down for a month. I finally got around to fixing it this morning. Those jacks have switching contacts that cause these to stop passing a signal when they get dirty. Played this jam through to test it and make sure it wouldn't cut out again a few minutes in.

:D Thanks Joe. You're too kind. That was just a straight through warts & all test run. I didn't plan on posting it but figured why let a clip go to waste. I road the guard rails quite a bit towards the end but managed not to run completely off the road. :D:D

Indeed you do. :D That preamp has 4 effects loops and the 12 jacks in the back all have switching contacts. They mess up like this all the time.
Look at that car. I don't know why people used to stuff ridiculously oversized engines in those ugly little cars. Ha ha ha! +0

Thanks my friend. I really like this preamp in spite of it being a pain in the butt at times. Like a lot of things in life, the best stuff needs a little care from us to stay tip top. ;)

Thanks Nick. It wasn't intended to be anything. I just wanted to make sure the preamp wouldn't take a dive on me partway into a project because it's done that before. I just started the track and played straight through without a plan in place which is why it got a bit loose in the end. :D:D I wasn't going to post by why waste a jam. B)
