well that's very fine ! it's all about dynamics and that's what makes a track alive :) ... next time try to lower your input gain by a couple db's ? ;) this way you still have the option to go happy and pick stronger and you wont strike the peak ;)

I usually record evidence to gain but I enthusiastically playing bass !! I'll do I say thanks OlivBee, recorded directly line of laptop and has its shortcomings ... but overall looks good

i know what you mean :) ... and to have fun should stay your main goal forever as far as it's about music ! just to give you the right idea : a proper level to record a track is somewhere between -10 and -6db ;)

I use a Korg Pandora PX4D FilterUp and amplifier emulation LA Studio with mean EQ and compressor. The Sound also has much to do with how to pinch the strings, but basically this is the setup of this jam, play with Ibanez SR300 4 strings roundwound in pickups bridge. Greetings
