The right Path
I did a new remix because the vocals of Shi were to far in the mix.
I hope it is more prominent this way.
Cheers all,

Hey Marc, I compared this mix before and after. Great job! Really really makes the song come to life! We are adding "producer" to your resume. Really enjoyed this mix.

You were right indeed, the vocals were too far in the mix. The could still have had a few dB more! :)

Thats were knowing a few EQ cheats comes in nicely. An EQ run over the track and a slight boost somewhere in the 350-600 hz range brings female vocals out of the mix nicely without effecting everything else.
Another trick is to get A M/S plug in. M/S means Mid/Sides. What it does is if Shi is in the center of mix, you can drop volume on the sides to even out the track .Sometimes works great but depends how the track is panned. I use M/S alot if Im fighting with your keys on a track and your rhythm is different volume then your lead. I can even you out on the edges of the track so i can come up the middle. +1

Thanks for the tips ! I’m not really a sound engineer. I download, some keys and do a little EQ snd sometimes reverb…. But that’s mostly it…. I will experiment with these settings you mentioned! It sounds logical and makes sense ghe bring certain frequensies more upfront in a mix! Cheers
