Ernie440 Groovy track Alex, your guitar tone in the last section put me in mind of the guitar sound in this cool old tune. Muffled wah tone I guess.

Al-Fadista Yes, you're right, sounds similar. I love that muffled auto-wah sound. Fun to use it every now and then, especially for lead. +0

JoeOnBass
It's like a scene from Sin City in my head, dark back road, fast car riding low to the ground, seedy dude behind the wheel - then that bass line around 1:00, something evil is underfoot ... the drive continues ...1:29, our antagonist formulates a plan ...1:50, the hunt begins, over hill, over dale, picking up the pace, loading the pistole ... but at 2:16, there's a maiden (clearly an iron maiden), she sees an exit, but not before setting the trap, 2:33 - Sting steps in on the bass for 10 seconds, 2:48 - Ernie's back, the confrontation is about to begin and ... 3:10, guns loaded, shot aligned, he creeps around the dark corner into the room, the villain doesn't see him, he grabs a rope, helps set the trap, gets the girl, draws the villain closer and 4:20 - trap springs, Ernie gets the girl and they drive off ... of course, I let it replay again because this is the coolest thing I've heard all day. Good on ya Ernie, it's amazing! +2

JoeOnBass I enjoyed playing to a version of this song but YOU did this justice. Not just the crystal bass tone, the picture perfect timing or the slendiferious fills that harmonize so perfectly in every aspect of the song but dude, the balance and mix of your recording through my KRK's is like heaven! Mutt Lange heaven, this is awesome. +1
