HarpCat
HarpCat Hi, thanks!
I use a quite basic bullet mike (superlux d112) straight to Garage Band through an i-Rig2. So the sound is given by the AmpliTube plug-in. The set-up I used here is a delay and two of the basic AmpliTube amps in parallel (solid state bass preamp, american tube clean2).

HarpCat I just started recording (I bought the i-Rig last week), and I don't have a proper audio interface nor a good recording microphone. Up to now I used to get a decent sound with a sonotone ceramic mike, a small delay pedal and a pignose (I just seen yours, I like the small guy!), but no way to use this set-up for recording without proper equipment. +1

TeeGee it's amazing what the electronic amp modulations can do. Well, I would love to hear if you record through the Pignose and another microphone into an interface, I bet that would sound even better, especially if the Pig is turned up. I love this little amp, it is actually loud enough to jam with a drum set and a small band, I was amazed how good it sounds :) :W +0

HarpCat Yes, I love the Pig squealing. Most likely I'll end up buying proper equipment to record the live set-up. (Actually I got it wrong on the AmpliTube set, I used a british tube in place of the american, this second I used for my lat remix, which is of course, mmh, cleaner. :) +1
