oh, lest i forget, thanks for the music man. it was a twenty year burning desire for me. like i said, took a different direction than the original lyric idea but i am very pleased with it. maybe this was where it was supposed to go all along. <3

yes yes yes, i realize the error. the question has been haunting my mind until i finally looked it up, and yes, i should have looked it up before instead of after. "momma told me not to come" is not creedence, it's three dog night. somehow in my mind they are on the same musical level, so not a surprising mix-up, but it is still a major lack of responsibility on my part. i hang my head. :|
