WanHu I grew up in Glasgow as a John Martyn fan. Phil's production turned John from marauding local folk genius into something resembling a less energetic Human League. He's never been forgiven in Weedgieland:( Music was a more tribal thing back then and I'd already moved on to Talking Heads:D +1

PJE Aahhhh....I remember John Martyn from way back...and I now understand the feeling, thanks for taking the time:).......although speaking from purely the drumming point of view there really aren’t many who wield the sticks as finely as Phil does:W +1
