ohhhh.... instant love!
that sound!
reminds me quite a lot of the St.Germain tracks, and that is one of the fanciest compliments I could make (if that doesn't ring a bell with you, look for the "Tourist" or "Boulevard" albums).
To me, the monotonist, the chord change in the first blue part wouldn't have been needed, really, but overall... superbe remix, thanks so much! +2

Glad you like it! :)
I have been lucky to be at a show of St. Germain on a North Sea Jazz festival... great feel and loungy sound that the produce....
About the chord change... that is something i like to find.. when a bass is going straight on without harmonic changes my brain is always trying to do something with that... sorry bout that... it's my brain nog myself...i'm a prisoner....
Enjoy your weekend and your little Richard and Diana version you have at home.... :) +1

oooohhhhh.... you saw St.Germain live... that must have been something memorable if they managed to get close to their studio level... I'll check if I can spot that on YT sometime.
The extra chord thing... I totally understand the urge, but those "it really feels too simple to just go on playing that one chord" moments are treacherous, while the steady one chord thing does spark some more additional ideas with me - as soon as there's that second chord, I feel a lot of doors are shut. Maybe you understand what I mean on a music theory level (which I know nothing about, as you know).
Either way, I do hear a little horn line coming on this one some time, which I couldn't quite hear without your beautiful add :) +1
