Mothers line American Indian and probably England. Not sure how the Mediterranean region figures in but I rule nothing out. Often wondered how musical tastes relates to genealogy. Been into genealogy research for a long time.

Talent may be something passed down, but it's likely that environment (what we hear/listen to and like) is a stronger influence. Just glad you've had some expanded listening somewhere along the line.
