Nooo, you are fine Fish. <3 I mean that someone will add another instrument on top of your playing, and then someone else.. And it will be needed to be mixed afterwards. Your levels balance is fine, and mixing is more than just following the instruction, although it is much more artificial and basically "engineering" activity than playing an instrument.
After all, there are reasons why most mixing engineers do not play or produce (or even mix!) their own music ;) The issue lies within subjectivity of perception of our own creation versus other's. +0
