I would never laugh at the garbage man or more appropriately the Refuse Collector. It's all in your perspective...if you have a cheating wife you could say that I was the garbage man. But the real point of the song is to poke fun at myself. Like they say one mans trash is another mans treasure.

I had a garbage man friend. He would come home with top shelf stereo systems...nothing wrong. New furniture...Jewelry actually worth something...even vintage guitars perfectly fine.For my birthday one year, he gifted me with the Complete Ian Fleming James Bond FIRST EDITION book set. Every James Bond book, first edition. Someone had tossed it.
