After listening back a few times, I realized that Glez’s bass was sort of buried too much in the mix. I fixed that and added phaser to my guitar to give it a more sitar-like sound. Also, the bass and guitar seem to have better interplay due to a more fair mix.

When comparing the two tracks, I came to a pair of terms from the history of art in my mind. "open and closed form". To this day, I did not know that you can use that in the mix as well. Just as you use the bass in this track, the phaser gives me a "closed form". I do not know if that is to be understood. I like both. If I had to choose, then it would be for the first, because he transcends into the open space and I love that smile +1
