Love the sound of the "rod type kids piano". I always thought that it had potential as a real instrument. so good to hear you play it...or probably it's a regular keyboard that has it as an optional sound?

It’s a library that has a faithful recording of a super-rare 1946 Rhodes Pre-Piano. Mr Rhodes made a handful of these instruments out of the leftover and broken parts of WW2 planes, and then used them to entertain the injured troops in hospital. This is where it all started for the Rhodes piano. It has an uneven tuning and an uneven response, which means the notes don’t trigger exactly when you press the key. It adds a really interesting character to the sound.

I really love that sound. Maybe it's a philosophical reflection as well...it's not the fancy and perfect things that make for great music, it's often the imperfections and slight variances that give it recognizable character.
