This is an Oldie but Goodie from RC-Drummer, P-Tar and BassCook. For me it is a cool hypnotic blues and inspired a somber approach opposite playing a standard blues solo. 1:10-1:32 is open.

Itocpogo Thank You so much Jim, I appreciate your kind words!! I am weird, an expected sax solo for this specific blues did not feel right or cool to me, and definitely did sound good when I tried! +0

Blue notes are often used as adds to a "right scaled" phrase. Kind of "bad boys" in the picture. This is a great example of using these "blue guys" as an entirely natural part of the whole. Your solo is almost kind of "thematic" in a way that makes every note become equal and relevant in the track. I simply love this add Dan. This way of thinking really reminds me of some of the coolest Breaker Brothers track. Awesome. :W:W +1

Itocpogo Thank You so very much Peter, I am honored with your gracious detailed comment! This specific blues for me did not inspire a standard sax solo (and did not sound good to me when I tried! You so well hit on it!!!!! This "hypnotic" blues to me was a specific melody statement, your similar comparison to a "theme" and I approached it from a specific "sameness" from me to highlight their strong blues statement. Thank You for taking the time for your analysis, means a lot to me to learn from! +1

Itocpogo Thanks so much, Tu! WOW, I did not realize you played on this which is weired because 18 days ago I commented on your wonderful vocal performance. But when I decided to do this for "Blues Tuesday", I found by searching for a blues. What I love about music is how the same backup can produce different feels. Your performance with the solo guitarist rocks so hard and good. I found just the trio of keys, drums and bass and inspired a modern harmonic somber sax statement to their wonderful "hypnotic" (to me) blues. +1
