Blues In The Cupboard
I could not resist this Stupendous performance by nedrek and Glez. This brought me back to those amazing years of playing this very type of swing blues that made the hair on my neck stand up just being on the same stage with guys playing this. I used to live (in a carefree youth) to just have the opportunity to play this type of music.

Thank You so much Rene for your very kind words! This type of music opened my eyes and ears as a child and my only goal in my teens was to play this type of music. So many great jazz saxophonists in the 1960's that had me in tears of joy as I listened to their greatness!

Thank You so much, Glez! I always listen to the bass when soloing and your lines are so very inspirational. This type of jazz is my "favorite" As a kid, all I wanted to do was learn to play it. I started on clarinet but when I heard the jazz sax greats of the 1960's, I was forever asking my parents of a tenor sax. nadreck captures that feeling exceptionally, so great!

You've captured that essence to perfection, it's a really good jam, everyone's put their grain of sand, nadrek the composition and the line of keyboard, you the jazzy melodic line and humbly bass with the groove swing :D

Thanks so much. Pete! This is my favorite type of swinging jazz blues! As a kid I was so captivated with the 1960's great sax players with that Count Basie Band roaring behind Lester Young, Lockjaw Davis, and other sax greats. Also Jimmy Smith (organist) with his quartets always with swinging great sax players! I love playing all types of music but this type makes the hair ion my neck raise up! nadeem and Glez play this so fantastically well, just AWESOME!
